CAROL SUE PLUM, 48, of Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Sunday, December 11, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. Born March 22, 1957 in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of Dorothy Elizabeth Wolfe Mong of Boonsboro, Maryland, and the late George V. Mong, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lawrence Plum on December 1, 2005. She was employed with City Mortgage in Frederick, Maryland, and was a Notary Public with the State of Maryland. She helped to write the City Mortgage newsletter. She was a member of the Boonsboro High School Band Boosters. She is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Hayes of Hagerstown, and Elizabeth Plum of Boonsboro, Maryland; two sisters, Janet Lewis of Thurmont, Maryland, and Ann Sullivan of Hagerstown; one brother, Gary W. Mong of Hagerstown; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, George V. Mong, III. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Thursday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Pastor Jeff Summers will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. m.
