CARL LINWOOD WYSLING, of the VA Hospital Martinsburg, WV formerly Hagerstown, MD passed away, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 and went home to be with his lord. Born, August 10, 1942, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, he was the son of the Late William Wysling Sr. and Ruth Wysling Idler. Carl served in the United States Marine Corps for seven years as an aircraft electrician and loved what he did. Carl loved his family and adored his grandchildren. Carl enjoyed traveling with his wife, touring historical places and dancing to Elvis and the Oldies. Carl is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy Wysling (Burton); two daughters, Jennifer Leigh Zamora and husband Christian of Frederick, MD and Catherine Marie Martin and husband, Thomas of Waynesboro, PA; one son, John M. Wysling of Hagerstown, MD; four grandchildren, Tyler Cosey, Madalyn Martin, Alexzander Zamora and Dyllan Zamora; one half-sister, Diane Idler of Philadelphia, PA; one half brother, Donald Idler of Englewood, CO; and one uncle, William Bowles Sr. of Leonardtown, MD. Carl was preceded in death by one brother, William Wysling Jr.; one half-brother, Stephen Idler; one half sister, Nancy Idler; one Grandmother, Catherine Marie Fuhrman; and one Aunt, Marie Hull. Graveside Services will be held at noon, Monday December 28, 2015 at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, 14205 Pleasant Valley Road NE, Flinstone, MD 21530.
