CARL DAVID PAULSGROVE, 86, of Hagerstown, Md., died Friday, December 7, 2012 at the home of his daughter in Apex, North Carolina. Born October 25, 1926 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late David Paulsgrove and Elva Mae Stoner Paulsgrove Glenn . He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice E. (Bee) Paulsgrove who died March 24, 1998. He was a veteran of W.W. II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed with Potomac Edison for 28 years, retiring in 1981. Prior to that, he was employed with Holzapfel-Fiery. He was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. He was a member of Amvets, and Morris Frock American Legion, Post 42. He is survived by a daughter, Lois Whitcher of Apex, North Carolina; a son, David Paulsgrove of Port Orange, Florida; five grandchildren, Jonah Paulsgrove, Eden Paulsgrove, Sheldon Whitcher of Minot N.D., Ross Whitcher and Ryan Whitcher; and one great grandson, Cole Whitcher. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Md. The Rev. Scott Summers will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
