Obituary

CALVIN C. LOVELESS, 86, of 16851 Virginia Avenue, Williamsport, Maryland, died on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Hagerstown. Born September 29, 1924 in Bakersville, Maryland, he was the son of the late William Jacob and Essie Loveless. He graduated from Hagerstown High School. Calvin was a veteran of World War II and Korean War, serving in the U. S. Army. He was employed by Letterkenny, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Amvets Post 10, Goodwill Athletic Club, Funkstown American Legion, Post 211, and Williamsport Redmen #84. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Jane Loveless; one daughter, Gloria Pepper, and husband, Paul, of Martinsburg, West Virginia; one son, Calvin Loveless, and wife, Melissa, of Maugansville, Maryland; one sister, Helen Kidwell of Hagerstown; one brother, Paul Loveless of Hagerstown; three grandsons, Cory Loveless, Kyle Loveless, and Nash Loveless; one great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Loveless; and one great-grandson, Caden Loveless. He was preceded in death by two sisters and 6 brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Graveside military honors will be conducted by Amvets Post 10 and Marine Corp League of Hagerstown.
