Charlene "Ann" (Teague) Gesford, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at her home after battling PSP for several years.

Born June 30, 1944 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles Teague and Jeannette Settle.

She was a 1962 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She went on to work at the old Washington County Hospital for several years until the birth of her daughter, Lisa, and left to be a full-time stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She and her high school sweetheart, Denny, were married just after high school and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Ann and Denny enjoyed eating out and taking cruises. For over 50 years, they loved to go camping with their many friends at Saunderosa Campground. Ann also enjoyed meeting with her school alumni group every month for lunch.

Ann is survived by her husband, Denny; daughter, Lisa and husband, Steve Pysher; and granddaughter, Amanda Pysher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, from 6-8pm on Monday, July 1, 2024.
