BRIAN SCOTT MARTIN, 27, of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and formerly of Hagerstown, died on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. Born July 1, 1980 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Lawrence Ray and Harryette Ellen Eardley Martin of Hagerstown. He graduated from James Rumsey Technical School. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was employed as a chef with The Press Room in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and formerly with the Yellow Brick Bank. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Bailey Martin of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; one brother, Steven Martin, and wife Christy, and their son, Sage Martin, of Frederick, Maryland; one half-sister, Shawn Mills of Hagerstown; maternal grandfather, Clifford Eardley of Hagerstown; and aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 21002 Twin Springs Dr., Chewsville, Maryland. Rev. John W. Schildt will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p. m.
