Brenda Kay White, 59, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Friday, August 1, 2025, after a lifelong struggle with kidney disease.

Born July 4, 1966, in Hagerstown, she is the daughter of Anita J. (Dampier) White and the late Frederick W. White.

Brenda was a 1984 graduate of Williamsport High School. She was previously employed at Hydra-Pak Inc and Farmers and Merchants Bank. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Boonsboro.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Florence and Edward Harper, Leah and Russell Dampier, and Frederick White.

In addition to her mother, Anita J. White, Brenda is survived by sister, Karen A. Smith; step grandmother, Pauline White; two nephews, Brad A. Smith (Tish) and Joshua A. Smith (Hannah); great nephews, Dominic Smith, Braxton Smith, Xander Smith, and Tyshawn Collymore-Bey; great niece, Harmony Redding; and aunts and uncles, Judith Dahlhamer, Linda and Al Clark, Jeannie and Matt Cummings, Mary and Melvin Lemen, and Frederick T. White.

Brenda is also survived by her spoiled little four-legged girls, Emma and Bailey.

Services will be held 1pm Friday, August 8, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Aaron Hartman officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 6-8pm.
