Brenda Ann Minnick, 65, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Chambersburg, PA.

Born April 14, 1960, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harold Wayne and Shirley (Kauffman) Smith.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Milton Minnick, Jr., on October 10, 2024.

She was a woman of Christian faith. She had a passion for cooking and sewing, and often created handmade crafts from plastic canvas, which she lovingly gave as gifts.

Brenda is survived by one daughter, Brandy N. Britton and husband, James, of Hagerstown; one son, Scott E. Minnick of Hagerstown; one sister, Deborah K. Yellott of Hagerstown; one brother, Shane W. Smith and wife, Erica, of Waynesboro, PA; two grandchildren, Beverly Britton and Jonathan Britton of Hagerstown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Benjamin H. Yellott, Sr., and one grandchild, Jennifer Britton.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 3pm to 5pm.
