BRENDA ANN HOLLAND, 59, of 10803 Donelson Drive, Williamsport, Md., died Monday, January 24, 2011 at her home. Born January 11, 1952 in Frederick, Md. she was the daughter of the late David and Rachel Hackey Holland. She was a 1970 graduate of Linganore High School. She was a former member of Asbury U. M. Church in Frederick, Md. Brenda was employed with Homewood as a nursing assistant for 13 years, retiring in 2008. She is survived by her beloved companion, Arnold E. Martin, Sr.; three daughters, Fara Martin-Thompson, Dawn Martin and Karen Martin, all of Hagerstown; 7 step-daughters, Balinda Benjamin and Yolanda Puller of Florida, Virginia Tynes and Deborah Rollins of Frederick, Md., Kimberly Bryant of Henderson, N.C., Sheila Zanders of Olney, Md. and Tonya Bell of Woodbridge, Va.; 2 step-sons, Arnold Martin, Jr. of Martinsburg, W. Va. and Darrell Martin of Frederick, Md.; four sisters, Angela Kenny, Barbara Woody and Rachel Barnett, all of Frederick and Nettie Fishburn of New York; two brothers, Mark Holland and David Holland, both of York, Pa.; and 7 grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Derrick Martin, a step-daughter April Duvall and a sister, Joan Beckwith. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Rev. John D. Cozzoli will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
