BRANDON KURTIS SHOEMAKER, 27, of 17704 Leonard Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at his home. Brandon was born on March 7, 1984 in Hagerstown, Maryland. He is survived by his parents, David and Katrina Shoemaker, and brother, Bryce D. Shoemaker, all of the same address, Hagerstown. He was a devoted grandson and caregiver to Albert L. Shoemaker. He was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from a very loving family. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bradley L. Bond, maternal grandparents, Leon Bond, Sr. and Edna Bond, and paternal grandmother, Dolores Shoemker. He graduated from Washington County Tech High in 2002. He was employed by Water Turf in Hagerstown, as a foreman, for seven and one-half years. Brandon was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed taking floats and camping trips with family and friends on the Conococheague Creek. Brandon loved music from all genres, and was a skilled pool player and member of the APA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a. m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Michael Hydes will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p. m.
