Obituary

Miss Bonnie Jean Printz of Rosewood Drive, Hagerstown, MD passed away at her home, October 1, 2025.

Born September 28, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Katherine Delosier Glenn Printz and Russell F. Printz, Sr.

Bonnie was a member of The First Baptist Church of Hagerstown, MD, The Gold Wing Road Riders Association #170907, The American Motorcyclist Association, The Motor Maids, Inc., The Lehman Trike Association, The Women of the Moose, chapter #2135, an active member of The Red Feathers #59, of Williamsport, MD and of the Washington County Retired Education Personnel Association.

She retired from the Washington County Board of Education after serving nearly thirty-two years as a custodian at various schools. Through mentoring and encouragement of teenage crew members, Bonnie was able to make a positive impact on the youth of the students she encountered, helping them take steps to reach their goals while creating

lifelong friendships.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie K. Printz and her father, Russell F. Printz, Sr. Two brothers: Edwin J. Glenn and Russell F. (Sam) Printz, Jr., both of Hagerstown, MD; three sisters: Sarah M. Fritz of Falling Waters, West Virginia; Imogene C. Citrack of Endicott, NY; and Shirley M. Sodergren of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is survived by one brother, John J. Printz of Clear Spring MD, and three 'kids' whom she claimed as her own: Tina L. Caniford, Anthony (Tony) Boyd, both of Hagerstown MD; and Jodie Hamburg Zanolini of Funkstown MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends and family at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on October 7, 2025, from 12-1pm with service beginning at 1pm.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery
