BLANCHE G. EISSNER, 94, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Meritus Medical Center. Born September 12, 1917 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Cecil B and Flossie (Ambrose) Ridenour. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, Earl W. Eissner on October 28, 2009. She was a 1935 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She retired from H.L. Mills Incorporated after twenty-four years. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks Lodge 378. She was past President of the Hagerstown Business and Professional Women Club. Blanche was the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Fox, Gladys Link and Helen Grandstaff; one brothers, George E. Ridenour. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Minnich Funeral, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Renee Mackey and Rev. Blaine E. Feightner will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
