BEULAH FERN (DIVELBLISS) SNECKENBERGER
Beulah Sneckenberger, 83, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully and went to her Lord, Jesus Christ surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. For the last 10 years of her life, she resided at Fahrney Keedy Home and Village after suffering a stroke in 2016. She was the wife of Richard W. (Dick) Sneckenberger who passed in 2002 and they were married for over 40 years. Born January 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Thurman W. Divelbliss and Myrtle F. Keefer Divelbliss.
She was a 1960 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
Surviving family members include one daughter, Judith Snyder and husband Maurice of Frederick; one son, Rich Sneckenberger, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Smithsburg; one sister Aleta J. Semler and spouse Preston of Hagerstown, and one brother, Thurman W. (Sonny) Divelbliss Jr. and his late spouse Kitty of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Jessica Snyder of Frederick, Hallie Gaver and spouse Dylan of Hedgesville, WV, and Mitchell Sneckenberger of Smithsburg, MD. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by one brother, Gary S. Divelbliss.
She was a member of the Frederick Seventh Day Adventist Church in Frederick, Maryland where she served as a Deaconess, Greeter and assisted with the monthly potluck. She previously attended Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship at Cearfoss.
She was previously employed at Blaine Window Company, The Picket News, Printers Press Inc., Boonsboro Printing and Indexing, Freline Inc., and Town & Country Department Store.
She looked forward to attending carnivals to watch country music entertainers and attending Fan Fair in Nashville, Tennessee for many years. She also enjoyed Country Western Dancing and was a member of the Hagerstown Country Western Dance Association.
She enjoyed travelling and prior to her stroke, she was able to take a road trip across country with friends to see the West Coast and the Grand Canyon, areas that she had never seen before.
When at home, she could be found in the kitchen making her soft Ginger Cookies from an heirloom family recipe or making pumpkin pies from scratch to share with family, neighbors, and friends.
She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. For the convenience of family and friends who cannot meet at the visitation hours, the funeral home will be open throughout the day for visitation during normal business hours on Tuesday.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 16 N. Main Street, Smithburg, MD. Pastor Virgil Cain will officiate.

Following the service, interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.
