BETTY JANE "BETTS" TARSUS, 73, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the Western Maryland Hospital Center. Born March 7, 1934 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Carleta Ridenour. She was previously employed with Hagerstown Shoe Factory and Doubleday Publishing Company. She was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church. She was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post 42 auxiliary, AMVETS Post 10 auxiliary and the Western Maryland Red Hat Society. She is survived by her husband, William G. Tarsus; one daughter, Billie Jo and husband Mark Sellers of Boonsboro, MD; one grandson, Matthew"Levi" Sellers of Boonsboro, MD. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Dale R. Carver will officiate.
