BETTY C. HARRISON (BOWLING), 79, of 1150 Rose Hill Avenue, Hagerstown, Md., died on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at her home. Born November 1, 1928 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Oliver F. and Perle L. Spence Bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Harrison, Jr. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Funkstown, Maryland. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia L. Foreman of Hagerstown; one grandson, Darrin S. Kolich of Big Pool, Maryland and two great grandchildren, Kayla M. Kolich and Hunter C. Kolich, both of Big Pool, Maryland. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard E. Bowling. There will be no viewing. Graveside memorial services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown, Maryland . The Rev. Darrell L. Layman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, P. O. Box 148, Funkstown, Maryland 21734.
