BETTY LEE HAMBY, 82, of 14811 Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at her home. Born September 6, 1924 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ann Sensel Pettigrew. She was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Lester E. Hamby, Sr.; three daughters, Paula Jordan, Theresa Fox, and Karen Hamby, all of Hagerstown; three sons, Terry D. Hamby, Lester E. Hamby, Jr., and Michael L. Hamby, all of Hagerstown; ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Saturday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Pastor Ronald K. Faith will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p. m
