Betty Doris Hamberger, 89, of Hagerstown, MD. passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Born May 18, 1933 in Shepherdstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Earl E. Redding and the late Ada Myrle (Creswell) Redding.

Betty devoted her life to her family and faith and dedicated many years volunteering and helping others. Betty's kindness touched the lives of so many and she will be deeply missed. She was a member of Christ Reformed Church in Hagerstown, MD.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Donald Monroe Hamberger, Sr.; daughter, Beth Ann Clipp and her husband, Ronald of Williamsport, MD.; son, Donald Monroe Hamberger, Jr. and his wife, Debra, of Hagerstown, MD.; son, Brian Eugene Hamberger and his wife, Aney, of Falling Waters, WV.; and her sister, Kathryn Summers of York, PA.

Betty is also survived by her loving family of 7 grandchildren, Sandy, Tim, Bonnie, Bailey, Darin, Devin, and Douglas; 10 great grandchildren, Katie, Micah, Kayla, Andrew, Athena, Jude, Logan, Daxton, Cooper, and Breker; and 1 great-great grandchild, Chloe.

A 'Celebration of Life' for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Summerland Community Center, 929 Security Road, Unit # 190, Hagerstown, MD. 21742.

Betty, as past President of the Homewood Auxiliary and long-time volunteer, would wish that donations be made in her memory to Homewood Foundation in support of Homewood at Williamsport Benevolent Care; 16107 Elliott Parkway, Williamsport, MD 21795.
