Betty Jane (Grove) Zeigler, 85, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at her home.

Born September 22, 1940, in Washington County, Md, she was the daughter of the late Paul Carson and Anna Mae (Williams) Grove.

Betty found great joy in life's simple pleasures. For many years, she enjoyed playing bingo and took pride in collecting Longaberger baskets. She also cherished the companionship of her beloved pets, who brought her much happiness.

She is survived by her son, Donald Eugene Zeigler and wife, Peg; her daughters, Paula Jane Strickland and husband, Tim, and Sara Elizabeth Zeigler and companion, Tim Rose; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her cherished furbabies, Trucker, Itchy, and Pebs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Donnie” Zeigler; her son, John Zeigler; and two brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Harbaugh Church Cemetery in Rouzerville, PA.
