BETTY JANE GRIMM, 82 of Hagerstown, Maryland, died, Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Reeder�s Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. Born December 1, 1926 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Aaron N. and Mary E. Lewis Grimm, Sr. She was a graduate and retired from Lutheran Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She was previously employed with the Washington County Hospital. Betty was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Fidelity Sunday School Class. She was a volunteer with Hospice of Washington County, Free Clinic and the cold weather shelter. She is survived by one sister, Phyllis M. Grimm Osborne and husband, Tom of Murrieta, CA. She was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Cooper; two brothers, Marion Grimm and Aaron N. Grimm, Jr. Memorial service will be at11:00 a.m. Thursday at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 108 East Franklin Street, Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD from 7 to 8 p.m. The family requests the omission of flowers.
