BEATRICE L. LOWRY, 75, OF 11019 Pin Oak Terrace, Hagerstown, Md., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2005 at her home. She entered this life on November 3, 1929 in Hagerstown, Md., and was the daughter of the late Theodore Martin and Helen Marshall Myers. She was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church. She was past chairman and member of the Board of Directors for Hagerstown Block Company. She is survived by her husband, William E. Lowry, whom she married on April 9, 1949. She is also survived by two daughters, Brenda Lowry Solomon and husband Lon of Fairfax, Va., Charlene Lowry West and husband Dane of Leesburg, Virginia; a son, Curtis Lowry and wife Robyn of Martinsburg, West Virginia; three sisters, Doris Durbin of Hagerstown, Delores Sowers of Smithsburg, Md. and Gloria Sneckenberger of Hagerstown; two brothers, Vernon Myers and Theodore Myers, both of Hagerstown; 10 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lowry Sparks, two sisters, Irene Swartz and Joyce Hill and a brother, James Myers. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Hagerstown Bible Church, 203 Summit Avenue, Hagerstown, Md. The Rev. Dale R. Carver, Rev. Jeff Knoll, Rev. Lon Solomon and Rev. Curtis Lowry will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
