On August 4, 2014, Beatrice (Bea) Ruth Lahn, 90, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Meyer Lahn. She is survived by sons Alan Lahn and Joel Lahn, daughter Rochelle Cocke; grandchildren Adam Lahn, Abigail Cocke, Melissa Lahn, Michelle Lahn, Andrew Lahn, and Miriam Cocke; brothers Morris Klein and Donald Klein. Bea was a loving and valued member of the community. Bea was active and independent taking care of her brother Donald and volunteering at the Community Free Clinic until her last days. Bea always had a smile for everyone no matter what her circumstances were. Bea was a valued life-time member of The B'Nai Abraham Congregation where she was active in Sisterhood and sang in the choir for more than fifty years. Bea often spoke with love and pride of her children and grandchildren who meant so much to her. Funeral Services will be August 7, 2014 at 11am at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Rabbi Ari Plost will officiate. Burial will be at B'Nai Abraham Cemetery.
