BARBARA MILLER SNYDER, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center. Born December 24, 1934 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Frederick H. and Sarah Kieffer Spigler Sr. Barbara had retired from Smithsburg Medical Center. She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Stone and husband, Douglas, of Funkstown; one son, Ron Miller and wife, Jennifer, of Lenexa, KS; and three grandchildren, David and Ben Stone, and Katie Miller; three sisters-in-law, Janice Spigler of Lutherville, MD, Beverly Spigler of Williamsport, MD, and Gail Spigler of Hagerstown, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by three brothers, Frederick H. Spigler, Jr., Samuel K. Spigler, Sr., and P. Blair Spigler (her twin brother). A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Monday, April 27, from 6pm to 8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
