BARBARA LOUISE ROWE, 82, of 11 West Baltimore Street, Hagerstown, Maryland died Saturday, July 1, 2006 at the Washington County Hospital. Born November 24, 1923 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Hazel E. Newcomer Bloom. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Summers and her second husband Woodrow W. Rowe. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Ellen Knode of Hagerstown, Maryland; one son, Marvin P. Summers of Everest, Washington; two step daughters, Darlene Suffecool of Clear Spring, Maryland and Vivian Suffecool of Hagerstown, Maryland; one step son, Wilson Rowe of Clear Spring, Maryland; two sisters, Beverly Gigeous and Josephine Burkett both of Hagerstown, Maryland; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Hendrickson, one step son, Gary Rowe, one sister, Rosalie Bloom, one brother, William E. Bloom. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Steven Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
