BARBARA JEAN (BARB) RITTER, 62, of, Hagerstown, Maryland, went home to be with her Lord, on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at her home. Born April 1, 1949 in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Margaret Shambaugh Fear Clopper of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, and the late Edward Fear. Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ritter in 2000. She graduated in 1967 from South Hagerstown High School. She was employed by Fuji Color Lab. She was a member of Locust Level Full Gospel Church. She was a member of Williamsport Redmen, Conococheague Lodge #84. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sisters, Brenda Clopper of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, Shirley Householder, and Wanda Giffin, both of Falling Waters, West Virginia; one brother, Vernon Fear of Williamsport, Maryland; two step-daughters, Tina Ritter, and Tonya Ritter; two step-sons, Dennis Ritter, and Joey Ritter; two step-brothers, Edward Clopper, and James Clopper, both of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; and six step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Stottelmyer; one brother, Steve Fear; one step-brother, Richard Clopper; her step-father, Max Clopper; niece, Heather Cross; and nephew, Ricky Fear. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Friday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert D. Swank, Jr. will officiate.
