Barbara Ann Edwards, 55, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Doeys House. Born May 4, 1965 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Milton Lesher, Sr. and Evelyn Louise (Summers) Lesher. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Edwards, Sr., who passed away July 7, 2014. They were married 29 years. She attended South Hagerstown High School. She was a homemaker. She loved to cook and made sure no one ever went hungry. She loved to crochet. She adored her grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Heather Edwards; son, Glenn Edwards, Jr.; five sisters, Staci Lesher, Kimberly Palmer, Shonda Edwards, Tracy Ramos, and Rebecca Reiff; and four grandchildren, twins Zachary Hallmark and Dylan Hallmark, Nicholas Edwards, and Nathaniel Edwards. The funeral service will be held 10am on Monday, December 7, 2020, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Mark Chapman will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 6, 2020, from 6 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to defray funeral expense.
