BARBARA ELLEN CORBISER, 68, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center. Born, September 11, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Roy Kline and Mary G. Fritz Kline. Barbara was a 1967 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She also graduated from Award Beauty School. Barbara was a member of Pathway Community Church. Barbara is survived by her husband of 49 years, Edmund Douglas Corbiser; two daughters, Tonya R. Goldscher and husband, Joseph, of Columbia, MD and Joy Nicole Corbiser of Fairfax, VA; a son, Erik D. Corbiser of Hagerstown, MD; a sister, Ruth Marshall of Williamsburg, VA and a granddaughter, Kelli Suffecool of Washington, DC. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Tusing and a brother, Ralph Kline. Funeral service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Justin L. Repp will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the funeral home.
