ARTHUR EDWIN (TATER) NYE, JR., 77, of 17423 Amber Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at his home. Born January 24, 1929 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Arthur Edwin Nye, Sr. and Gladys Evelyn Snyder Nye. He was retired from M. P. Moller where he was employed for forty-three and a half years. He was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Lou Jean Rowe Nye; one daughter, Kittylee Harbaugh of Hagerstown; one son, Barry Nye of Hagerstown; one sister, Gayl Martin of Hagerstown; four grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Cunningham, and Marie Martin; and two brothers, Roy Nye, and William Nye. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Rev. Mark A. Sandell will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Sunday from 2 to 4 p. m. and 6 to 8 p. m.
