ARTHUR THOMAS LITTON, 81, of Clear Spring, Maryland, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center. Born February 4, 1932 in Boonsboro, Maryland, he was the son of the late David Wilson Litton, Sr. and Mildred Ruth Rowe Litton. He graduated from Boonsboro High School in 1950. He was a member of Macadonia United Brethren Church. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau Association and the Brown Swiss Association. He is survived by his wife, Grace Litton; three daughters, Sarah Shade and husband David, Melba Mowen and husband Robert (Bob) and Carol Britt and husband John; a son, Charles Litton and wife Donna; 22 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; a sister, Miriam (Irene) Litton; and two brothers, David Wilson Litton, Jr. and Walter Rowe Litton, Sr. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Elliott. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Pastor Gayle Ruble will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
