ARTHUR ELWOOD HAUSE, 92, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Friday, September 28, 2007 at Reeders Nursing Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. . Born January 17, 1915 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Daniel Randall and Anna Nora French Hause. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby R. Leonard Hause, October 3, 1978, and his second wife, Martha Ellen Mauck Hause, January 27, 2001. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Brandt Cabinet Works, Inc. for fifty years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for over fifty years, and the Men's Friendship Sunday School class. He was a member of the West End Senior Citizens, the Downsville Senior Citizens, and A. A. R. P. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carrie E. Harbaugh, and M. Elaine Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. David R. Brosnan will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
