Arthur Paul Fahrney, Jr. passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at his home. Born in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Evelyn Louise (Sellers) and Arthur Paul Fahrney, Sr. Paul graduated from Hagerstown High School. He worked for Hagerstown Auto Parts for 18 years then he retired from General Motors, January 1, 1997. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Hagerstown, Eagles Club in Waynesboro, and formerly a member of Loyal Order of the Moose 1191 in Waynesboro and American Legion Post 15, in Waynesboro. Paul is survived by his wife, Pauline V. Fahrney; son, Rick E. Fahrney and wife, Virginia, of Royal Palm Beach, FL; granddaughter, Julia Maddox Fahrney of Atlanta, GA; and two grandsons, Paul Hunter Fahrney of Westminster, MD and Andrew Shriver Fahrney and wife, Audrey, of Houston, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown. Rev. Steve Robinson will officiate.
