ARTHUR WILLIAM BLOOMFIELD, 76, of 64 Game Trail Road, Falling Waters, West Virginia, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital. Born November 11, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Clarence Arthur and Marie Ryan Bloomfield. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U. S. Army as a Corporal. He was employed with Floridin Company in Quincy, Florida for thirty-three years. He is survived by his wife, Adeline Novak Bloomfield; one daughter, Brenda Jones of Bowie, Maryland; one son, Robert Bloomfield of Hagerstown; one sister, Jane Foley of Martinsburg, West Virginia; one brother, Kenneth Bloomfield of Oviedo, Florida; one grandson, Mitchell Jones; one niece, Donna; and three nephews, Dan, Steve, and Ed. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Torben Aarsand will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the Washington County Amvets Post 10. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m.
