Arlene Kershner Brewer, 84, of Funkstown, MD, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Meritus Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with Parkinsons Disease. Born March 23, 1934 in Funkstown, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Emma (Cromer) Kershner. She is survived by her husband, Robert Brewer; son, Dwain Brewer; two sisters, Elaine Byers of Hagerstown, MD, and Donna Brown of FL; brother, Richard Kershner of CA; three grandchildren, Justin Brewer and Brandon Brewer of Denver, CO, and Joshua Brewer of Dubi UAE; and four great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Julia Manor for the wonderful care they provided. According to Arlenes wishes, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
