Obituary

ANTHONY "TONY" MANCINI, 90 of 833 Summit Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, October 14, 2006 at his home. Born April 16, 1916 in Vasto, Italy, he was the son of the late Pietro and Lucia D'Adamo Mancini. He owned and operated Anthony's Barber Shop. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. He was a member of AMVETS Post #10 and the Sons of Italy, in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Angela of Hagerstown, two daughters, Rose Marie Mancini of New Orleans, Louisiana and Nancy Moss of Blairs, Virginia; one sister, Helen Mowen of Hagerstown, Maryland. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, Western Maryland Hospital, 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
