Anthony "Tony" John Borum, 71, of Hagerstown, MD passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Mt. Airy, Maryland.

He was born on July 17, 1951, in Plainfield, New Jersey. He was of the Catholic faith. He was the son of the late Daniel W. Borum, Sr and Mary Borum. He is survived by his wife Trisa King Borum of 36 years; sons, Anthony Borum, Jr. of Lewes, Delaware and James Borum of Martinsburg, West Virginia; daughter, Mindi Malott (Trey) of Hagerstown; one grandson, three granddaughters and five great grandsons; brother, Daniel W. Borum, Jr (Vi) of Hemet, California; and sister, Kathy Gagnon (Neil) of Hagerstown.

Tony was a graduate of Smithsburg High School. He worked on the C & O railroad, then as a surveyor for Fox and Associates, and retired from the City of Hagerstown. He was a member of the American Legion, South Mountain Rod and Gun Club, Williamsport Redmen and several motorcycle clubs.

Tony had a loving, caring and kind heart. He was a friend to everyone he met. Tony's passions were riding his motorcycle with friends and spending time with family. He also enjoyed vacationing, playing golf and his favorite, of course, talking.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown, MD. There will be a short service following the visitation, beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place immediately after the service at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Knights of Columbus on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 1pm to 3pm. Lunch will be served. Dress casually in honor of Tony.
