ANNABELL RUTH DECKER WYANT, 82, of 11814 Patrick Road, Hagerstown passed away peacefully on January 10, 2006 at the Washington County Hospital from pneumonia. She was surrounded by her family. She was affectionately known as Mom, Grandma, G-Ma and Nana. Born November 22, 1923 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late C. Russell Decker and the late Mary Ellen Ruth Snook Decker. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Jesse H. Wyant in 1998. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She was a member of Hagerstown Chapter #89, Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by two daughters, Melanie Scalese, and husband, Jay, of Elkridge, Maryland, and Suzanne Suffecool, and husband, Butch, of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Kristianne Scalese Buker, and husband, Derek, of Frederick, Maryland, Joseph Scalese, III, and wife, Jenny, of Boonsboro, Maryland, Jennifer Suffecool Brambir, and husband, Bill, of Everett, Washington, and Karin Suffecool Shadoan, and husband, John, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; seven great-grandchildren, Ellen Brambir of Everett, Washington, Matthew and Andrew Scalese of Boonsboro, Maryland, Sharon Buker of Frederick, Maryland, Ryan Shadoan of New Market, Maryland, and Blake and Brenden Shadoan of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; one sister, Lucille Ingram of Hagerstown; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Elwood Decker of Hagerstown in 1992, and Samuel Decker of Annapolis in 1998. Services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2006 at 1:00 p. m. at the Minn ich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Kenneth Hawes will officiate. Burial will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery.
