LOUISE TATE, 93, of Broadmore Assisted Living, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital. Born August 12, 1915 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Warner Dierling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Van Tate. She is survived by three granddaughters, Christine Gostowski of Walkersville, Maryland, Terri Hallett of Manassas, Virginia, and Patti Barr of Hagerstown; a grandson, Walter Gostowski of Cumberland, MD and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Arlene T. Gostowski on April 28, 2008, and one brother, Victor Dierling. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday at the Rest Haven Cemetery. Deacon William Nairn will officiate. There will be no viewing.
