Obituary

ANNA MAE STAINS, 91, formerly of Potomac Towers, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Julia Manor Nursing Home. Born June 7, 1915 in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Amanda I. Nave Henson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry M. Stains in 1984. She was employed with the Maryland Ribbon Company for fourteen and a half years, retiring in 1979. She was a former member of the First Church of God in Chambersburg. She is survived by three sisters, Mildred Slusher of Hagerstown, Betty Forsythe of Maugansville, Maryland, and Nancy Beggerly of Funkstown, Maryland; two brothers, Frank Henson of Hagerstown, and Frederick Henson of Pompano Beach, Florida; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Beaver, and four brothers, Alfred Henson, Alex Henson, Harry Henson, and Walter Henson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Williamsport, Maryland.
