ANNA RUSSELL, 93, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 Brookdale Senior Living. Born March 12, 1923 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Eduard and Katherina Wegertseder Berglehner. Anna was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, Aldean B. Russell in 2003. She was formerly employed with E. J. Fennel as a seamstress. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Frager of Gettysburg, PA and Gabriele Pritscher of Germany; four sons, Manfred Russell of Hagerstown, Aldin (Joe) Russell of Waynesboro, PA, Allen Russell of Smithsburg and Gunter Gollner of Germany; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Hagerstown. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.
