ANNA MAE RUBECK, 83, of Hagerstown, MD, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 20, 2014, at her son's home. Born Aug. 31, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Anna E. Hamby Bartles. Anna was formerly a member of Grace Brethren Church, recently attending Paramount Baptist Church. She was a dedicated home maker, mother and grandmother. Anna is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kelley of Hagerstown; two sons, Robert E. Rubeck, Jr and wife Doris, Gerald W. Rubeck, Sr. and wife Emily, both of Hagerstown; daughter-in-law, Barbara Rubeck; three sisters, Ruth Keyser, Sarah Robinson, Susie Whittington; one brother, John Bartles; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Rubeck, Sr. in 1988; son, Douglas E. Rubeck, Sr.; three sisters and three bothers. Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 am, March 25, 2014 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Steve Wagoner and Pastor Brian Kelley will officiate. The burial will be at Broadfording Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 pm at Minnich Funeral Home.
