ANNA MAE McSHERRY, 82, of 106 Southern Oak Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, and formerly of Smithsburg, Maryland, died Monday, April 13, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born November 5, 1926 in Clear Spring, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Martha Irene Provard Miller. She retired in 1987 from E. J .Fennel after 34 years of service. She was of the Methodist Faith. Anna Mae loved duck pin bowling, fishing and enjoyed the family beach house at the ocean. ` She was a member of the Funkstown American Legion Post 211 Women's Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Victor McSherry; two daughters, Shirley Ann McSherry Turner and husband, Raymond of Boonsboro, MD and Linda McSherry Williams and husband, Larry of Clear Spring, MD; one son, Larry "Mick" McSherry and wife, Tracy of Smithsburg, MD; one sister, Mildred Stavors and husband, A. James of Philadelphia, PA; six grandchildren, John Michael Williams, James Scott Williams, Sandy Melton and husband, Mark, Stacey Hose and husband Brian, Meghan McSherry and Logan McSherry; six great grandchildren, Brooke Williams, and Tori Williams both of Florida, Quinn Melton, Zane Melton, Kade Melton and Shey Melton; all of Hagerstown, MD; one special cousin, Connie Rosso of Carlisle, PA and several special nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Lee Rohrer. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
