ANNA KATHRYN KING, 90, of 10828 Lincoln Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the Fahrney-Keedy Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. Born January 8, 1916 in Willowstreet, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Rhoda Maria Groff Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Hillard King on October 1, 1998. She was retired from Dorbee Manufacturing after twelve years of employment. She was a charter member of the Valley Grace Brethren Church; was a past member of the choir, the Woman's Missionary Council., a Sunday School teacher, and a Deaconess. She was a member of the A.A.R.P. She is survived by one daughter, Betty King Neff of Hagerstown; and three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mabel Herr; and two brothers, William H. Brooks, Jr., and Martin Brooks. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Louis L. Emerick, and Rev. Luz Maiuri will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m.
