ANNA C. BLOYER, 93, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Friday, August 16, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center. Born November 16, 1919, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Dunn Matthews. She retired from Fairchild Aircraft. Anna was a member St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Charles Franklin Bloyer, Jr.; one son, Charles F. Bloyer, III and wife, Kim; two granddaughters, Debra Ann McCabe and Nicole Danielle Bloyer; one great granddaughter, Chloe Evelyn Ann; daughter-in-law, Judy Houser. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Catherine Bloyer; one son, Robert Bloyer; and several sisters and brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 17630 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, with the Rev. Greg Ferri as celebrant. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD from 7 to 9 p.m.
