Anna "Annie" I. Young, 96, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2023. She was born on May 11, 1927 in Chambersburg, PA to the late Abner Roy Itnyre and Evelyn Hurd Itnyre.

Annie worked at Grand Union for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending her time playing bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Overcash, her brother, Donald Stitley, and her beloved dogs, Bailey and Princess.

Annie is survived by her Goddaughter, Vicki Ferguson Smoot.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 10:00am – 11:00am at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.

A funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 11:00am at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
