Anita Virginia Hildebrand, 91, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, May 3, 2024, at Fahrney-Keedy Senior Living Community in Boonsboro.

Born November 14, 1932, in Boonsboro, MD, she was the daughter of the late Everett "Jim" Caleb and Ruth May (McCarter) Long.

Anita did homecare and previously employed as a clerk, bartender, waitress, and worked in a sewing factory. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Post 42 and Grace United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles E. Harmison, Jr., her second husband, Jacob Carl Hildebrand, Jr., and her sister, Beverly Hines.

Anita is survived by three daughters, Kathy Barnes and husband, Jeff, Robin Keller and husband, Robert, and Dina Baker and husband, Steven; three sons, Gary Harmison and wife, Eleanor, Terry Harmison and wife, Robin, and Robert Hildebrand and wife, Robin; 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several great great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 1:00pm Friday, May 10, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Rev. Thomas E. Young, Jr. will officiate.

Family will receive friends Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 7-9pm and Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fahrney-Keedy for the wonderful care they provided and her doctors, Dr. Jurrand, Dr. Diehl, Dr. Iqbal and Dr. Andrade.
