ANDREW LEWIS "ANDY" HAMILTON, JR., 65, of 11321 Youngstoun Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. Born October 28, 1941 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Andrew L. Hamilton, Sr. and Edna Hamilton Kimble of Hagerstown, MD. He attended St. Maria Goretti High School. He was employed with Ingram's Men's Shop for thirty-seven years and was currently the associate manger. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a member of Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks Lodge No. 378 for twelve years. Andy was an avid tennis player, loved music and was a self taught musician playing the piano and organ. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Becky Palmer of Funkstown, MD, Connie Stromberg of Hagerstown, MD and Kitty Kane of South Portland, Maine; three nieces, two nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 224 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. James Nirappell will be celebrant. At his request he was cremated. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, MD on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1037 Haven Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742
