ALOHA MAE "BUTCHIE" BROADUS, 59, of Hagerstown, MD departed her Celebration of Life on June 13, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center. Born October 23, 1955 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of her deceased mother, Elizabeth Cleo Broadus Smith, and deceased father, Henry Taylor. Two sisters, Margaret Broadus Jones and Zina Moody. She was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School in 1973. She was a former employee for many years at W. D. Byron & Sons, aka The Tannery in Williamsport, MD, until the plant moved. As a single parent, she was loving, caring, and supportive, as well as devoted friend to many. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Hagerstown, MD, and will be greatly missed and loved by all of church family. Aloha is survived by three daughters, Monique Broadus, Nikkia Broadus, and Shawnte Keefer, all of Hagerstown, MD; seven grandchildren, Annika Love and David Love, Jr., both of Charlotte, NC; Anastasia Broadus, Shakur Johnson, Rykeria Mooney, Marquese Campher, and Aceion Keefer, all of Hagerstown, MD; two great-granddaughters, Mariah Bowling (daughter of David Love, Jr.) and Najya James (daughter of Annika Love); two sisters, Sonia Broadus and Tonya Smith, both of Hagerstown, MD; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Stoner; and one special play sister, Glayds McGhee; three aunts, Sara Woodson and Geraldine Freeman, both of Hagerstown, MD, and Grace Taylor Crews of New Haven, CT; one uncle, Richard Taylor of New Haven, CT; two nieces, Shannon Fields of Ellicott City, MD, and Ke'Shae Chung of Hagerstown, MD; three nephews, Jerome Broadus, Fernando Broadus, and Orlando Smith, all of Hagerstown, MD; two god-children, Sierra Holman and Ebonie Williams of Hagerstown, MD; plus more, a host of cousins and devoted friends. Services will be held 11am Friday, June 19, 2015 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., .
