ALICE JEAN SUCKOW, 76, a resident of The Shepherd's Choice in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, died on Monday, October 16, 2006 at the Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Born May 12, 1930 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Alverda Catherine Sease Poe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerold Jon Suckow. She served in the U. S. Air Force. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Suckow-Williams of Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania; one sister, Gladys Hunter of Hagerstown; one brother, Paul Poe of Hagerstown; and one grandson, Jerold Jon Williams of Blue Ridge Summit, Pennylvania. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Monday at the Welty Church of the Brethren, 13465 Greensburg Road, Smithsburg, Maryland with Pastor Bradley Graybill officiating. Burial will be in the Harbaugh Cemetery in Rouzerville, Pennsylvania. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by AMVETS Post #10. Family will receive friends at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m., and one-half hour prior to the service.
