ALICE MAE DUNKIN GROSS, 75, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at her home. Born August 18, 1930 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Maurice LeRoy Dunkin, Sr., and Viola Corine Diffendaffer Dunkin. She is survived by her husband, Francis G. Gross, Sr.; two daughters, Jacqueline Plume, and Peggy Sue Gross, both of Hagerstown; three sons, David L. Gross, Sr. of Clear Spring, Maryland, and Terry W. Gross, and Francis G. Gross, Jr., both of Hagerstown; five sisters, Grace Pentz, Nancy Mundey, and Pauline Garula, all of Hagerstown, Charlotte Myers of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, and Sharon LeHardy of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Maurice L. Dunkin, Jr. of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Howard Dunkin, and Harry Dunkin, Sr., both of Hagerstown; thirteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie L. Gross, and two brothers, Robert L. Dunkin, and Ronald Dunkin. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Thursday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Rebecca J. P. Hoover will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. m.
