ALICE Y. FLOOK, 70, of 17404 Gardenwood Drive, Hagerstown, MD entered into eternal peace on March 13, 2009 at her home with her family by her side. Born October 9, 1938 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Adelaide Hewett Kunkleman. She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School in 1956 and played on the girls basketball team and sang in the chorus for four years. She was employed at the Board of Education and retired after 20 years as a cafeteria manager. She was of the Christian faith. She was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed dining out and dancing with her husband and friends. She also immensely enjoyed going to her grandchildren's activities and walking her beloved dog, Sami. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard R. Flook; one son, Dwayne Flook and wife Carrie; one daughter, Julie Lough and husband Ed; three beloved grandchildren, Christine and Renee Barnes and Eddie Lough II, all from Williamsport; brothers, Paul Kunkleman, Charles Kunkleman and wife Linda; sisters, Sonie Johnson and husband Howard, Kay Kirk and husband Jimmy, all of Hagerstown; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Almeda Jordan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd with Rev. James Swecker officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00-9:00pm at the funeral home.
