Alice Virginia Dennis, age 96, a cherished matriarch, and beacon of love, departed from this world on April 8, 2025. Born on November 27, 1928, in Virginia, Alice led a life abundant with devotion to her family, friends, and community.

Married to her beloved William "Bill" Dennis for 46 remarkable years, she was a partner in both life and love. Alice was a proud mother to her children, Alice Brooks, Wendy Biegun, Michael Roberts, Sharon and her husband, Michael Turner, and stepsons, Bill and Charles. Although preceded in death by her sister Ann, sons Freddy and Edward "Eddie," and daughter Barbara, her memories will be revered by those she held dear, including her brother Dale Cameron, sister Hazel, her 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Her professional journey as a film manager within the education system illustrated her passion for learning and continuous growth. Alice's personal pursuits reflected a love for camping, maintaining a pristine household, and the tranquil pastime of bird watching.

The funeral will be held at 11am on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd,. Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Sean Brumbaugh and Rev. Ed Hampton will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service (10am).
